BronxWorks operates offices throughout the borough that offer walk-in and telephone services to help Bronx residents resolve problems. Our offices are staffed by skilled, compassionate professionals who are specialists in housing, government benefits, consumer rights, immigration, senior services, and other matters. All walk-in personnel speak both English and Spanish.

Community, social and emotional learning (SEL), and culturally responsive-sustaining education (CRSE) are among the building blocks of successful engagement with our most vulnerable students. The move to remote learning challenges us to be creative in ensuring that these foundational elements are not lost. With this in mind, this resource highlights strategies for counselors, teachers, and administrators to effectively engage MLLs/ELLs in a virtual setting.

Burial Assistance
